WHAT WE DO
Our uniqueness as a company lies in our deep understanding of both the hands-on practicality of the building world and the scientific basis of aquatic ecosystems. With this multidisciplinary skillset and a long history in the industry, we are able to efficiently and effectively restore degraded streams, create intricate new aquatic ecosystems, construct artful water features, and anything in between. Whether it be a full-scale channel reconstruction or a recirculating waterfall in a backyard, our know-how, adaptive problem solving skills and extensive experience will allow for the best possible finished product.
WHY CLEARWATER?
Through our pond management program, we observe first hand how minor details during the building process become substantially important years later, as the ecosystem matures. This type of long-term planning is of the utmost importance when constructing biologically functioning aquatic ecosystems, as seemingly insignificant mistakes can lead to consequential outcomes, like leaky ponds, rampant algae growth, unsustainable fisheries, recirculation failures, etc. All members of our small team are long-term employees, which means that everyone has extensive experience managing existing systems and building new ones. This collective experience, coupled with a company culture that embraces attention to detail and abundant patience, allows Clearwater to create incredibly complex systems that are built for the long-term and designed with the resilience characteristic of any ecosystem in the Mountain West.
